I’m joining Waitwhile
Today marks an exciting new chapter in my career journey. I’m thrilled to announce that I’ve joined Waitwhile as a Software Engineer, where I’ll be focusing on the guest experience side of their innovative queue management platform.
After my entrepreneurial journey with Ultimate Machine and various indie projects, I’m excited to dive back into a collaborative environment where I can contribute to solving real problems for businesses and their customers. Waitwhile’s mission of eliminating the frustration of waiting in lines resonates deeply with me—it’s about creating better experiences for everyone involved.
What is Waitwhile?
Waitwhile is revolutionizing how businesses manage queues and appointments. Their platform helps restaurants, retail stores, healthcare providers, and other service businesses create seamless waiting experiences for their customers. Instead of standing in physical lines, guests can join virtual queues, receive real-time updates, and make better use of their time.
My Role: Guest Experience
As a Software Engineer on the guest experience team, I’ll be working on the customer-facing side of the platform—the part that directly impacts how people interact with businesses when they need to wait. This includes mobile apps, web interfaces, SMS notifications, and all the touchpoints that make waiting more pleasant and transparent.
I’m particularly excited about this focus because it sits at the intersection of user experience design and technical implementation. Every feature we build has a direct, measurable impact on real people’s daily lives. Whether it’s a parent waiting for a table at a family restaurant or someone getting their car serviced, the tools we create can turn frustrating waits into productive or relaxing moments.

This role represents a perfect blend of my technical skills and passion for creating products that genuinely improve people’s experiences. I’m looking forward to learning from the talented team at Waitwhile and contributing to a product that’s already making a difference for thousands of businesses and millions of guests worldwide.
The timing feels right for this next step in my career. After the lessons learned from building my own products and the experience gained from previous roles, I’m ready to bring that knowledge to bear on challenges at scale with a growing company that’s making a real impact.
